Miami International Boat Show means only one thing to MiMi – ogling the always-stunning annual collaboration between Mercedes-AMG and Opa Locka-based Cigarette Racing. When the big black sheets are ceremoniously ripped off during The Big Reveal, it’s always a wow. Now in its 12th Edition, the two performance-obsessed toy-makers have unveiled and unleashed their one-off twinsies for 2020 – a 59-foot Cigarette Racing Tirranna Mercedes-AMG Edition and a matching AMG G63 G-Wagon.
Together, they’re a visual feast of Darth Vader-level metallic blackness and gleaming gold so gold it channels gold leaf itself. Pastels be damned, the duo is the most Miami Vice thing you’ve ever seen – a luxuriously sleek combo meal of Crockett & Tubbs-level ostentatious musculature that would have forced El Chapo to break back into prison, screaming for his mommy.

The Tirranna’s 6 supercharged 4.6-liter V8 Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines generate 2,700HP, which pushes the 40,000 pound beast to a hair-raising 80MPH. The Cigarette’s 59′ length and 14′ beam can hold you and 25 of your closest friends, bathing you in a meticulously delicious 29-speaker, 5,200-watt sound system. It’s aural sex on the water. When the 26 of you stop to dance and swim in the light chop off 2nd Street, the AMG Tirranna’s state-of-the-art gyrostabilizers will decrease the boat’s lateral roll by 80% – steady as she goes! The carbon fiber superstructure helps keep her light.

But what about the G63? It continues to be the Miami baller SUV of choice, with its 577 hp 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, but this one-off Cigarette Racing-paired luxe-truck includes handcrafted individualization (read: finishes & special detailing like its diamond-pattern gold exterior) executed at the AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach, Germany. This includes 22-inch Mercedes-AMG cross- spoke forged wheels with gold accents, a dark chrome AMG specific radiator grille, murdered-out matte black vehicle logos and side entry boards, and floor mats and grab handle featuring distinctive Cigarette Racing stitching.
