MONDAY

The Great Elephant Migration is arriving in Miami Beach near 36th Street on November 24th. This international collaboration between Indigenous artisans, contemporary artists, and cultural institutions supports Indigenous-led conservation efforts and inspires peaceful human and animal coexistence by migrating 100 artisan-made elephant sculptures across the country. On their third stop across the country, the elephants arrive beachside alongside a pop-up presentation of their very own custom fragrance: CoExistence by luxury Italian fragrance house Xerjoff, the lead sponsor of the Miami exhibition.

TUESDAY

In celebration of Miami Art Week 2024Shake Shack is teaming up with friends, Chef Niven Patel of Ghee Miami, and Artist Brian Butler, to bring an immersive culinary and visual arts experience to Miami on Tuesday, December 3 at the highly anticipated Ghee Wynwood. This unique collab menu combines Shake Shack’s signature elevated flair with chef Niven Patel’s distinctive Indian flavors. Guests can reserve online here for one of three seatings on Tuesday, December 3rd at 1PM, 6PM or 8:30PM.

CHROMA 2024: Activating Art, Identity, and Connection in the Miami Design District

Lucid Design District is excited to announce the return of CHROMA 2024, a dynamic group exhibition during Miami Art Week, running concurrently with Art Basel Miami Beach. This year’s exhibition brings together 20 national and international artists, offering a vibrant mix of multidisciplinary artworks and engaging live activations.

Guests can secure their reservations to any one of these electrifying events via Seven Rooms. During Art Week, Delilah Miami is open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 6 p.m., with brunch served on Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m.

James Beard Award Winning Chef Michael Schwartz is bringing that French je ne sais quoi to Miami’s imaginative design fair, Design Miami during Art Basel.  Inspired by Chef Schwartz’s love and passion for French cuisine, he alongside his culinary team will unveil a French Bistro at Design Miami from Wednesday, Dec. 4th through Sunday, Dec. 8th. This marks the second year of the Michael’s Genuine Bistro pop-up. Michael’s Genuine will also be the exclusive food and beverage partner for Design Miami. Guests can expect fan favorite dishes from last year’s menu like Croque Madame with ham, gruyere, egg and bechamel ($28), Country Pate ($17) and Duck Confit with radicchio, apples, pumpkin seeds, dates topped with a vinaigrette ($26). Some new additions include Escargot in puff pastry with garlic, parsley and butter ($21) and Braised Short Rib Frites with salsa verde ($42).

Tina Frey’s Meditation Orb Brings Mindful Technology to Miami
During Miami Art Week, artist-designer Tina Frey will debut the Meditation Orb, an experiential art installation combining cutting-edge technology with mindfulness practice. The immersive installation features a collection of orbs with plush interiors where visitors can experience 12-minute guided meditations focused on love, peace, or joy, created by renowned “neurohacker” Amy Budden.

Hyde Beach Miami Art Week DJ Lineup Celebrate Miami Art Week at Hyde Beach as this daylife/nightlife oceanfront lounge blends art and music, and presents an electrifying lineup of renowned DJs such as DJ Fatboy Slim, Hugel, Themba as well as surprise performances. Featuring artful mixology, Katsuya-inspired cuisine and poolside enjoyment, immerse in an atmosphere that captures the vibrant scene of Miami. KISSAKI MIAMI HOSTS TUNA CUTTING CEREMONY DURING ART BASEL – On Thursday, December 5th at 6:30 PM sushi lovers and culinary enthusiasts alike are invited to the innovative Japanese dining destination with locations in NYC and more recently, Miami Beach. This unforgettable experience will celebrate the tradition of sushi and showcase the restaurant’s commitment to sustainable sourcing. Executive Chef Benjamin Tellez will give a live demonstration of the meticulous and ceremonial process of butchering an entire Bluefin Tuna. The event will offer guests a rare opportunity to witness this ancient culinary practice firsthand while learning about the cultural significance of tuna in Japan.
